Gospel Partnership is a commitment, a calling, and an
intimate union of suffering and success with those on the
frontlines preaching and taking the Gospel to the nations.
– Bishop Darlingston G. Johnson, D.Min., General Overseer
In 2 Corinthians 8:13-15, the Apostle Paul talks about the partnership that we have in the Gospel. He intimates that in advancing God’s Kingdom, partnership is essential. We are to help furnish the lack of our brethren and they of ours. In this way, the body of Christ mutually benefits. By partnering with BWOMI, you have a part in the fruit reaped on the mission field.
Every month, BWOMI financially supports missionaries in the field, and also provides for other churches and organizations (with the same vision). With the passion to demonstrate the love of Christ to their communities, some of our churches have started various projects such as the building of schools, clinics, vocational training centers and much more. We are doing the best with the limited resources available, but we realize that the needs of the people are greater than our capacity to provide.
For instance in many rural villages and inner-cities in Africa, there is a dire need for educational facilities. In many of these areas, Bethel missionaries have opened schools in addition to their church-planting work realizing that if we are to affect society in a meaningful way, we must invest both spiritually and naturally in the next generation. Now these missionaries find themselves besieged with throngs of students but often are not able to accommodate everyone sometimes sending some away because of inadequate space.
However if through partnership our resources can be pooled, we can see thousands of children impacted by the Gospel and whole societies affected in the next generation.
